Riga Art Nouveau Museum presents an exposition – THE NEWLY GAINED OBJECT – that exhibits a collection of items donated in 2012.

Riga Art Nouveau Museum is truly grateful to those citizens of Riga and city visitors who contributed the museum’s collection by their donations of Art Nouveau period items. The experts in architecture and art are in the opinion that the Art Nouveau style manifests itself much brighter in Riga than in any other European city and it is closely linked with such perception of the world as the one demonstrating a national self-esteem in the urban environment and in the design of household objects.

The exhibition will open on the 21st of June 2011, at 4 o’clock PM and will be available for visitors from 21st of June till 31st of August. #

The exhibition „Floral motifs in Art Nouveau” in Riga Art Nouveau Museum
The exhibition will open on the 21st of June 2011, at 4 o’clock PM and will be available for visitors from 21st of June till 31st of August.
The outstanding items with floral motifs from Latvian National Museum of History and from Riga Art Nouveau Museum funds will be exhibited.
Various new items will be presented, for example, a chandelier made of the beginning of the 20th century, restored with the help of VKKF, as well as Art Nouveau style decorated bathroom cabinet.
The exhibition will be decorated with floral compositions created by the members of lily grower club “Lilium Balticum”.
The exhibition sponsors are Riga City Council.
